Upon arriving, the room felt outdated and a bit chilly, taking a while to warm up. The view from the 3 windows was disappointing, facing a brick wall and a maintenance room. However, the rooms were adequate for the stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was fantastic, close to the river and the vibrant Third Ward area, but the rooms were outdated and there was a noticeable weed smell in the hallway. On the plus side, the rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped, though my fiance experienced a burn due to a bursting pipe in the shower.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, but there was a slight odor reminiscent of a budget motel next to the highway. The location was fantastic, offering easy access to vibrant areas like Historic Third Ward and Summerfest, however, it seemed pricey for what it offered.
The hotel is perfectly located in Milwaukee for my activities, but the rooms felt dated and smaller than expected. The shower lacked pressure, the room decor was old-fashioned, and the TV was too far from the bed with a finicky remote. The thermostat was ineffective, the desk was small for working, and breakfast was costly starting at 7:00 AM and had no food available after 9:00 AM. The wireless connection required individual logins and passwords, and the room wasn't dark even with the cheap blinds closed.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location was perfect for all the downtown events we had planned, offering a convenient and walkable spot. The service was among the most welcoming I've experienced, making me feel right at home. The rooms were indeed a bit small, but we had full guest privileges at the athletic center which we used heartily. The facilities were fantastic, with multiple bars for service and a rooftop patio to enjoy.
